Congress just got their first Muslim-American member and it is none else than Rep. Keith Ellison.

Ellison is very tight with the anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan and radical groups, among which is also the Muslim Brotherhood.

Among other big news is that Ellison was once engaged into asking for a separate country for the Black Community living in America.

Here, a new question arises- why would the Democrats think he is more fit than Debbie Wasserman-Schultz?

In 2006, Ellison was newbie in the political world, so Scott W. Johnson had this to say for the Weekly Standard:

“Ellison was born Catholic in Detroit. He states that he converted to Islam as an undergraduate at Wayne State University. As a third-year student at the University of Minnesota Law School in 1989-90, he wrote two columns for the Minnesota Daily under the name “Keith Hakim.” In the first, Ellison refers to ‘Minister Louis Farrakhan,’ defends Nation of Islam spokesman Khalid Abdul Muhammad, and speaks in the voice of a Nation of Islam advocate. In the second, ‘Hakim’ demands reparations for slavery and throws in a demand for an optional separate homeland for American blacks.”

Another magazine that also commented on Ellison’s previous columns and cited another Associated Press is the Washington Post:

“Around 1990, Ellison, then a University of Minnesota law student known as Keith E. Hakim, wrote several columns in the student newspaper that are getting a second look.

One column defended Farrakhan against charges of anti-Semitism; a second suggested the creation of a state for black residents. In 1995, Ellison helped organize a delegation to Farrakhan’s Million Man March in Washington.”

As The Daily Caller News Foundation discovered in the columns published by the Minnesota Daily, Ellison used the pseudonym “Keith E. Hakim.”

Other four columns were also uncovered by TheDCNF, all written by “Hakim” during his time studying to be a lawyer. At this period,  Ellison was 26 years old.

In the columns we can notice “Hakim’s” determination to repair the injustice done to black people and called the Constitution the “best evidence of a white racist conspiracy to subjugate other peoples.” He also suggested that the black people should get their own country.

The initial column was published on November 1, 1989, and is called “African-Americans are best equipped for fighting drugs.”

This guy shows a lack in the Democrats’ leadership skills and proves the Republicans right in their ideals.

Whatever it is, the Republicans got the major advantage. So, score!
