Barack Obama has always been a showman and he decided to leave the WHite House in style. However, actor Gary Sinise got back at his intentions and showed what real heroes are all about.

We all know the legendary role of Sinise as Lt. Dan Taylor in the movie “Forrest Gump.”

He also did some major work with the veterans, providing them with a “smart home”, especially for the disabled ones and even foudned the “Lt. Dan Band.”

So, instead of spending this year’s Thanksgiving with his family and relatives, Sinise took a trip to Afghanistan and decided to aid the troops located there.

Here is what Twitter had to say about it…

Barack Obama did the same thing when he served Thanksgiving dinner to vets, but he stayed put in his resident town of Washington. As we learn, they went to the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington. Not to shaby, but compared to what Sinise did, he is a joke.

Obama was never present at a particular troubling zone such as Afganistan. Unlike him, George W. Bush visited Iraq in 2003. Obama did visit these countries but at a much peaceful period.

For his Thanksgiving, Obama awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to a multiple famous people in America, out of which most were Liberals.

Some of the names on the list were Robert Redford, Ellen DeGeneres, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bruce Springsteen. Obama also called Michael Jordan “the guy from ‘Space Jam.’”

“Dad jokes” were also on the menu when Obama did the annual turkey pardoning last Wednesday, according to NPR.

“We should also make sure everyone has something to eat on Thanksgiving. Of course, except the turkeys, because they’re already stuffed,” the president told an assumedly groaning press. “When somebody at your table tells you that you’ve been hogging all of the side dishes, you can’t have any more, I hope that you respond with a creed that sums up the spirit of a hungry people: ‘Yes, we cran.’”

Well that is anything but a presidnetial behavior. He kept true to his showmanship but also forgot all his promises. On the other hand, Gary Sinise rules.
