Donald Trump promised that if elected president he would change the federal spending and try to fix America’s economy for good.

To do so, he would need to ceize certain burdening government programs.

One of those programs is public broadcasting, on which more than $500 million are spent on the backs of tax payers .

This idea won the House in 2010 and Mitt Romney made a promice to make it official in 2012. He stated that the U.S. Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education are costing the tax payers about $470.7 million.

Even though they are supposed to bias, we all know the media is directed towards supporting the liberals.

Sucha  seemingly non-partisan organization was CPB, foudned in 1967 as part of President Lyndon Baines Johnson’s “Great Society.” The President stated when je signed the bill,  “It announces to the world that our nation wants more than just material wealth; our nation wants more than a ‘chicken in every pot.’ We in America have an appetite for excellence, too.”

A large amount of the public broadcasting budget ends up being spent on their salaries:

As the latest data available for the 2013 fiscal year, PBS’s Paula Kerger earned $779,954 in salary, NPR’s Gary Knell cashed $756,575, and CPB’s Patricia de Stacy Harrison received $434,364.

The regular Americans are struggling every day, while the public broadcast memebers are earning more than they deserve.

Since Trump is not the Presdient-Elect, we expect him to put an end to this and regulate the earnings accordingly. If that happens, America will benefit tremendeously.
