The media is apparently in charge of contrasting with Donald Trump’s ideas and politics, or so says CNN’s Chris Cuomo.
On Wednesday, on the CNN’s New Day, Cuomo promised to be the opposition of Trump’s policies.
Per Cuomo, “The media cannot yield. This administration is going to demand constant fact-checking and opposition.”
Cuomo is the brother the CNN anchor, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, and son the of late New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, and he stated that the reason he feels like this is, “Because otherwise, you don’t know which way it’s going to go from day to day. That’s just a fact.”
The discussion was held between Cuomo and New Day co-host Alisyn Camerota, as well as CNN political director David Chalian.
In case you were unaware, Chalian worked previsouly as the chief of the Washington bureau for Yahoo News. however, he was fired in 2012 after commenting on open mic that Republican Party officials could care less if Black people died, in time of Hurricane Isaac.
Also, in a live web broadcast, Chalian stated the Republicans were “not concerned at all. They’re happy to have a party with black people drowning.”
Afterwards, shock of all shocks, he was hired by the CNN and promoted to political director in 2014.
CNN has dubbed by critics as the “Clinton News Network” for its perceived bias coverage promoting Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in her campaign against Trump.
Cuomo, stated faslely that CNN was not allowed to read documents published by Wikileaks. As we know, these documents contained private conversations of Hillary Clinton and some of her staffers.
“Also interesting is, remember, it’s illegal to possess these stolen documents. It’s different for the media. So everything you learn about this, you’re learning from us,” he said.
Trump’s supporters were the first to rebel against CNN’s method of sharing news, and for a good reason.
Donald Trump also adressed CNN president Jeff Zucker in a Monday sit-down and apparently told him, “I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed.”
